Willie received his B.A. and M.S. from Appalachian State University. He began his Campus Recreation career here at East Carolina University and has worked at Georgia Southern University, The University of Central Florida, and most recently George Mason University.
Fun Fact: Willie and his wife enjoy movies and spending time with their two dogs -Sassy and Sam, a Maltese and a Shiatzu/Poodle. Willie umpires baseball as a hobby when they are not taking time to see their three grandchildren.

Brian is originally from Aurora, IL and graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Stout. He received a B.S. in Vocational Rehabilitation as well as a minor is Speech. Brian received a Masters of Science in Higher Education at the University of Kansas. He came to Pirate Nation in 2010 where he worked with Campus Living until recently where he works with CRW in Assessment, Research, and Retention
Fun Fact: Brian coaches volleyball in Greenville and continues to play volleyball any chance he can.

Janis earned her Bachelors of Arts in Therapeutic Recreation from the University of Northern Iowa and her Masters of Science in Kinesiology: Exercise Physiology from the University of Colorado in Boulder. She joined ECU in 2010 beginning her career in aquatics, soon advancing to recreation superintendent, recreation director and now her current role as the associate director of facilities.
Fun Fact: Janis enjoys traveling to tropical areas, participating in water sports, and spending time with her beloved dog Bozo.

Selena was born in Greenville, N.C. and grew up in Wilmington N.C. She graduated from N.C Wesleyan College with a BS in Business Administration and a BS in Computer Information with an emphasis in management. She began her career at ECU in 2006 as Building Environmental Manager with the SRC Facilities department. She oversees full time housekeepers and manages students serving community service on campus.
Fun Fact: Selena and her husband own a small commercial cleaning service employing part time cleaning people. They have one daughter, Jenna, in cosmetology school.

Cameron was born in Raleigh, N.C. and grew up in Benson, N.C. He graduated from East Carolina University (ECU) with a B.S. in Parks and Recreation Management, Minor in Sports Studies, and a minor in Business Administration. He is now obtaining his Masters in Public Administration at ECU. He began his career at ECU in 2010 as an Intramural Sports Official and has continued to work for CRW throughout his undergraduate career. He has recently became the Graduate Assistant for Facilities. He assist with facility needs, indoor reservations, and is also involved in Club Sport.
Fun Fact: In his free time, Cameron love to play golf and enjoys traveling to golf courses he has never played before.

Greg received his B.S. and M.S. in Sport Management from James Madison University, and he Ed.D in Educational Leadership from Eastern Kentucky University. He began his Campus Recreation career at Eastern Kentucky University, and joined the Pirate family in June 2016.
Fun Fact: Greg is an avid Washington Redskins fan and loves spending time with his wife and two daughters.

Mark graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Sports Management from Campbell University and went on to earn a Masters of Exercise and Sports Sciences in Sports Management from the University of Florida. He served as the graduate assistant for intramural sports at the University of Florida, and later as the coordinator of intramural sports and special events at Washington State University, prior to coming to East Carolina University in 2005. In his ten-year career with ECU, Mark has coordinated intramural sports, special events, volunteers and summer camps.
Fun Fact: The love of sports must run in the family, as Mark has an identical twin who referees high school and college football and basketball.

Jon graduated with a B.S. in Parks, Recreation and Tourism Management from N.C. State University in 2006. He went on to get his M.S. in Recreation and Park Management from East Carolina University in 2009. He has worked as the Coordinator of Intramural Sports and Youth and Family since 2009.
Fun Fact: Jon lived overseas in Amman, Jordan for 10 years when he was younger and loves spending time with his wife Claudia and daughter Reagan. He also hasn't been to a barber since 2003.

Jenny earned her Bachelors of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing from East Carolina University, and went on to complete her Masters of Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing from Florida Institute of Technology. She began working with Campus Recreation and Wellness in 2005 overseeing the customer service area, and currently works supervising the marketing and promotions department.
Fun Fact: Jenny loves to spend time with her husband and two boys, going to the beach, hiking, paddling, running, biking and ending her day with a good movie.

Adrienne is originally from Florida and received her B.S. in Hospitality, Recreation and Resort Management and her Master's in College Student Affairs Administration from the University of West Florida. She studied abroad with Outward Bound in Costa Rica and spent two years working for the Navy on a base in Florida. For the past two years, she was in charge of the Challenge Course at Eastern Kentucky University and joined the Campus Recreation & Wellness family in August 2016 as the Assistant Director for Adventure Leadership.
Fun Fact: Adrienne was in the Circus and has a cat with no tail named Bob.
Chad is originally from Pennsylvania and graduated from Slippery Rock University in 2012. He received a B.S. in Resort Recreation Management and Tourism as well as a Minor is Business Administration. Chad started working at resorts in P.A. and on Cape Cod, then switched to working with adjudicated youth as an adventure based counselor. He came to ECU in 2016 to start his current position with Campus Recreation and Wellness.
Fun Fact: Chad has traveled all over the world; loves disc golf, snowboarding, and all varieties of games.

Georgia earned both her Bachelors of Science in Physical Education and Masters of Education in Health Education from East Carolina University. She worked as a health educator for seven years with the Pitt County Health Department before beginning her career at ECU in 2002.

Ainsley earned his Bachelors of Arts in Information Systems in 2002 from Ferrum College in Ferrum, Virginia, and went on to complete a Masters of Science in Health Promotion Management from Marymount University in Arlington, Virginia in 2011. Ainsley joined Campus Recreation and Wellness this year, with more than ten years of experience working in student affairs in the departments of residence life, campus programs and leadership development working in planning, implementing and supporting activities that promote holistic wellness, engagement, and leadership development of university students.
Fun Fact: Though he grew up in Virginia, Ainsley is origianlly from a small Parish called St. Mary in Jamaica and is a huge fan of music, and thus spends a good portion of his free time seeking out new artists.

Lydia graduated from East Carolina University with Bachelors of Science in Public Health Studies in 2013, and went on to earn her Masters of Art in Health Education and Promotion in 2015. In her three years with Campus Recreation and Wellness, Lydia has served as a peer health educator with Healthy P.I.R.A.T.E.S., an intern and a graduate assistant with the wellness program, and her latest role, as the assistant director for the wellness program.

Sam earned both his Bachelors and Masters of Arts in Flute Performance from East Carolina University. After school, his passion for exercise and fitness ultimately won over his passion for music. He's been a part of the Department of Campus Recreation and Wellness since 1996, and currently serves as the assistant director of fitness.
Fun Fact: Dance Moms is Sam's all-time favorite show, and he encourages everyone to tune into the Lifetime Network on Tuesdays at 9:00pm.

Courtney earned her B.S. in Recreation, Sport and Tourism along with her minor in Leadership Studies at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She then went on to earn her M.S. in Community Resources and Development: Parks and Recreation with a thesis titled "The Fitness Tourist: Goal Content of Exercisers in the Wellness Tourism Industry" at Arizona State University. She has been in the field of campus recreation since 2011 and began working with East Carolina University in 2017. Courtney is certified with the American Council on Exercise as a personal trainer and a group fitness instructor and holds several other certification in risk management and fitness.
Fun Fact: Courtney has danced as an All-American with the Universal Dance Association in Italy and in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City. She loves wellness, outdoors, fitness and travel. During her lifetime she hopes to visit every country across the globe.

Bernie received his B.S. in Political Science from Radford University, an M.Ed. in College Student Personnel Services from the University of South Carolina, an M.P.A. in Public Management and Education Policy from The Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs at Syracuse University, and his Doctorate in Higher Education from The George Washington University. Dr. Schulz has worked in higher education for 24 years. Prior to coming to East Carolina University in 2013, he worked at American University, Syracuse University, Texas Tech, Presbyterian College and the University of Maryland.
Fun Fact: Bernie enjoys traveling and spending time with his two dogs-Bentley and Winston, both Bichons. Bernie is also a die-hard Washington D.C. sports fan-Redskins, Nationals, Capitals, Wizards, and United.

Teresa Baro received both her Bachelor of Arts degrees in History and Hispanic Studies from East Carolina University.
Fun Fact: In 1980, Teresa was the first baby at Pitt County Memorial Hospital (now Vidant) to survive a diaphragmatic hernia, courtesy of ECU's very own Dr. Walter Pories. She enjoys playing racquetball, loves to travel, and speaks Spanish if anyone needs a tutor.
