College of Business Graduate Programs - Application Process

Completed applications include:

  1. the application form and the application fee of $75
  2. your current resume
  3. official transcripts from each institution attended beyond high school,
  4. and official GMAT or GRE standardized test scores*. Check the admissions requirements to see if you qualify for a GMAT/GRE waiver.
All graduate applications must be submitted to the ECU Graduate School. The student is responsible for the submission and receipt of all application materials. The Graduate School is the University-wide office that coordinates all graduate applications.  When a student’s application is complete, the application package is then sent to the College of Business Graduate Programs office for evaluation. The College of Business does not require letters of recommendation or a statement of purpose.


*You should take your GMAT or GRE at least one month prior to the application deadline to allow adequate time for your scores to be received. Some students may qualify for a GMAT waiver.

Application Procedures for Military:


College of Business Graduate Programs admits students during any semester, and does not to adhere to the ECU Graduate School admission deadlines for domestic students. International students must adhere to all University (thus ECU Graduate School) deadlines.

Completed applications must be received by the ECU Graduate School no later than the date indicated for each semester or summer session. Note that COB Graduate Programs deadlines are different from the deadlines posted by the ECU Graduate School.

Students seeking financial assistance through graduate assistantships, scholarships, or financial aid are strongly urged to apply early, as awards are based on demand and dependent on available funding.

MSA Program

For International Students

Since additional time is required for visa and other document processing, university deadlines are strictly enforced for both MBA and MSA programs. The following deadlines for submitting completed applications are published by the ECU Graduate School.
