ECU Launches LiveSafe, a mobile safety app, today!

Safety and Environmental Policy Statement

ECU invests heavily (millions of dollars each year) in safety through our education programs, security technology, Student Affairs staff and ECU Police Officers. Safety takes a team effort that starts with personal responsibility. you can have the greatest impact on your own safety and you can help keep your fellow Pirates safe. Utilize university resources, safety tips and your intuition to stay safe. Sometimes, despite our collective efforts to maintain a safe campus environment, an incident or crime occurs. If you become a victim of crime, please know that only the criminal is to blame and we have experienced and highly qualified personnel that comprise a caring and comprehensive victim services network. Please utilize these services. The annual safety report outlines policies, procedures and resources to assist you. The new ECU LiveSafe safety app is available for free download and provides immediate connection to police and other valuable resources right in your smartphone. Join me and our local law enforcement partners in our commitment to further reduce crime on campus and throughout Greenville.
