The mission of the CAHS Office of Research is to provide the resources needed to support scientific advancement and research endeavors by the faculty in the College in Allied Health Sciences.
We collaborate directly with investigators to assist them with the preparation and internal review of grant applications, including the budget and administrative sections. We also provide post-award assistance to faculty with regards to budget and expenditure oversight, reports and compliance. We are the interface between CAHS investigators and administrators in the central grant offices at ECU.
Our College has joined with the College of Nursing to establish the CON-CAHS Research Administrative Hub. The purpose of The Hub is to provide expertise and support in pre-award and post-award for faculty in CON and CAHS as the diversity of our grant portfolio and funding continues to increase. The Hub oversees a variety of research and research-related accounts including internal grants, extramural grants, institutional start-up funds, grant/contract reassignment time (GCRT) funds, and indirect cost accounts.
