Navigate maintains a holistic approach to counseling individuals, families, and groups utilizing evidence-based and innovative interventions. Navigate's qualified professionals are faculty and graduate students, whose credentials include licensed professional counselor (LPC) and associate (LPCA), licensed clinical addiction specialist (LCAS) and associate (LCASA), certified substance abuse counselor (CSAC), certified rehabilitation counselor (CRC), and/or certified vocational evaluation specialist (CVE).

How does a client sign up for services at Navigate?

The first step to receiving services is to sign up for an orientation. Clients may call Navigate at 252-744-0328 to register.

At orientation a clinician will discuss services, policies, procedures and expectations. Individuals who have not signed up for orientation in advance will not be turned away. They are still invited to participate in orientation.

Who is eligible for services?

Our service criteria are broad. In order to be eligible for services an individual must:

  • Be 18-years-old or older
  • Be medically and psychologically stable
  • Be able to benefit from individual counseling
